V 1.4 - Milestone 2 about to approach
Looking back I notice I came from a long way but when looking forward I know that my journey has just begun.
The next big step in this whole process is about to approach so I decided to first look at my gameplay with my friends to finish what first needed to be finished and afterwards starting to bring in big tasks for my next milestone (like great maps & powerups!!!)
After many gameplays with my friends I decided to:
-Rebalance drone tank variables
-Work on more player feedback and relatable topics:
- Now you can see your bomb behind a wall with a z depth shader (same goes for the tank player UI).
- Sounds are starting to make more sense => Ex.: Feed in player feedback when a bullet is fired by adding a 'Pang' sound.
- UI navigation remastered + reconstructed layout.
As an artist I'm sad to take a brake on the programming part, but promises are not made to be broken!
I will start modelling and texturing for a while until the new Unity input system is implemented to the 2019.1 release.
Before closing down my message I wanted to let you know that I might continue working on a new Official demo within a course called 'Group Projects' for school. This might change all my plans for this project.
